My Wife and I had been having "FRENCH MARKET Coffee in the morning. Now using the NEW ORLEANS CHICORY with a small amount of the store brand and the taste of the coffee is wonderful. Also it does not get stale in the pot as plain coffee will get. We find ourselves drinking more and with less caffeine in the pot. We also have to say now that we have been using it for about a month now we find ourselves not only feeling better but sleeping better as well. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT CHICORY!!!!!!! I should have bought this size from the very beginning. So great to share with my kids and have some in the office as well so I am never without my chicory. Same great taste and freshness as the small bags I used to get.

I bought this 5 lb bag of chicory a month ago, and I am so glad I did! I have had allergic reactions to coffee, and I have been in withdrawals and depressed that I haven't had my morning cup of joe. I decided to try chicory, and it is a great substitute! 1 tsp of chicory = 3 Tbsp of coffee. I use 1 tsp chicory in my french press and it makes a full robust pot, which I pair up with 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp of vanilla, and honey. It is delicious! I will order this again.

I have been buying 5 lb chicory for well over five years. I've never had shipping issues or quality of product issues with New Orleans Roast. I use one or two scoops of chicory along with three scoops of coffee in every 12 c. pot, every day and love it. It deserves 5 stars but I gave it 4 only because of the price increase.
