Ingredients:  Olives with Pimentos, Oil Blend (Soybean/Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Cauliflower, Carrots, Celery, Kalamata Olives, Red Bell Peppers, Capers, Pepperoncini, Water, Vinegar, Salt, Spices, Garlic and Calcium Chloride, Potassium Sorbate, Lactic Acid, Sodium Bisulfite and Yellow No. 5 as preservatives.

    I got initiated into Olive Salad when visiting New Orleans many years ago. The muffuletta sandwiches at Central Grocery are some of the best sandwiches in the country, if not the world ! I order six jars at a time and try to make them last as long as I can - some times are longer than others. It would be worth it to try at least one jar for sandwiches or, as I do, put it in my salad.

    Don’t bother with imitators. Central Grocery invented the muffuletta, so their olive salad is *the one*. You can use it in a dozen plus ways, because it enhances everything, or simply make your own muffuletta sandwich. So delicious, and more thrifty than a trip to the Crescent City. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

    I’ve tried others, but this is the best. I especially like the spicy one, but they don’t make big jars of that, at least that I can find.
