Description
Dark Roast & Chicory Single Serve Cups from New Orleans Roast™ serve up an authentic taste of history. The nutty, woody notes of French Laroux chicory blend with our bold dark roast coffee for a unique flavor profile that's synonymous with the Big Easy.
French settlers used the root of the chicory plant to stretch meager coffee supplies during the Civil War. When roasted, ground and brewed, caffeine-free chicory smells and tastes a lot like coffee. Today, this combination is a cherished favorite of NOLA residents and visitors alike.

Coming From an avid Starbucks coffee drinker I think this coffee is pretty good
Coming From an avid Starbucks coffee drinker I think this coffee is pretty good. I did expect a more pronounced chicory experience but the taste is good and the aroma is nice.i would buy at the right price.

I love the taste of this coffee! I found that adding extra milk helps with the slight bitterness and also one extra packet of sweetener
I love the taste of this coffee! I found that adding extra milk helps with the slight bitterness and also one extra packet of sweetener. My husband and I both enjoy of a cup of this in the morning or sometimes even as an afternoon pick-me-up. I don't experience any adverse reactions from caffeine or anything like that. I definitely will get more of this, for sure!

I really enjoyed the bold taste of Dark Roast and Chicory Single Serve coffee
I really enjoyed the bold taste of Dark Roast and Chicory Single Serve coffee. It was a nice blend of sweet and bold flavor, I like that the dark roast was not too over acidic tasting. The K-cups make it easy to pop into my Keurig and enjoy. I received a free sample to try and review.

I wasn't sure if I would like a chicory flavor but I did actually like the flavor of this coffee
I wasn't sure if I would like a chicory flavor but I did actually like the flavor of this coffee. The coffee was strong and had not a too overpowering flavor. I think I am more of a medium blend person, but overall I enjoyed this coffee a lot more than I thought I would.

I really like the taste and chicory gives a nice caramelized and nutty taste
I really like the taste and chicory gives a nice caramelized and nutty taste. Had not tried this type of coffee before but I'm glad I did. Really like that it comes in Kcups making it easy to make individual cups of coffee. I have already recommended this to others.

This strong coffee was much more pleasant when I added coffee creamer
This strong coffee was much more pleasant when I added coffee creamer. I'm still not sure about the chicory. This coffee is preferred in the am hours over the pm hours as it was too strong. I did enjoy it and would purchase it again.

This product was very bold and strong for me (I usually drink light coffee like breakfast blend) I was not a big fan of the taste as it was a bit acid
This product was very bold and strong for me (I usually drink light coffee like breakfast blend) I was not a big fan of the taste as it was a bit acidic for me but when I added milk and sugar it was something I was able to drink although not really enjoy. I am not sure what exactly makes it New Orleons style but it was not my thing.
