New Orleans Roast Dark Roast & Chicory 12oz Ground

The aroma when I opened the bag was a very rich, deep coffee scent. I used the usual amount of coffee in my first brew and it was a little strong, and I usually like pretty strong coffee. The next batch I cut about a half scoop and really enjoyed it more. There is an different taste when you have chickory in coffee, but it's a taste I enjoy and have had many times here in Louisiana. I would buy this again, and would try other products from this company.

I'm so glad that I finally tried Chicory! New Orleans Roast coffee and chicory is the perfect addition to cooler weather. It's warm, bold, and wonderfully unique! I did receive this coffee for free from Viewpoints Sampling in return for my honest opinions and my family and I are so glad I did! We are all hooked on it's flavor and spiced aroma. This has already replaced my old coffee and I can't wait to try New Orleans Roast other flavors!

This coffee had a good taste, Brewed nicely, I really didn't like the packaging it doesn't give the coffee Justice the bag looks cheap to me but the taste was really good I would buy it.

This coffee has a slight smokey flavor without having a bitter after taste. The impact of the coffee is not too strong, so I would recommend drinking this towards the end of the day but not as a pick me up in the morning. If you like your coffee strong then brew in smaller batches. It also tastes extremely good with biscottis. I would drink this coffee again.

I would make a pot in the morning's and would sit at my desk and sip this coffee, It has a very nutty flavor the coffee itself is dark roast and I felt that it wasn't strong enough. I feel it is better for a evening cup of coffee. Something to adjust your nightly cravings for snacks. The Flavor is good and I have never tried New Orleans Roast Coffee & Chicory before. I have never had tried Chicory very different taste to me.

I tried this one night at home. I want a smooth tasting coffee with a light taste and this was just what it was. It tasted great and left me feeling refresh

I drank this product in the morning. It was dark and strong. It made me feel like I was being transported right back to New Orleans. If you like Chicory this is a coffee you will really like.

I didn't know what to expect when I tried this coffee. I am not a coffee aficionado or snob. I have to admit that I tend to buy basic brands like Folgers or Maxwell House. The first thing I noticed was the lovely aroma of this coffee. It was something my whole family noticed on the mornings we brewed New Orleans Roast. After the lovely aroma, the taste did not disappoint. I was unfamiliar with the flavor of chicory in coffee, and I have to say that I am a new fan. The difference is noticeable but in a subtle way. The chicory enhances the overall coffee flavor and adds its own flavor notes that remind me of dark chocolate. The dark roast was rich without being bitter or overwhelming. I loved the taste, and my husband and daughter were hooked as well. When we finished our bag of New Orleans Roast, my daughter ran right out to buy some for her own apartment. I would purchase this brand again. It will not completely replace our everyday/workday coffee simply because it is a bit more expensive than common brands like Folgers. However, it is well worth the price. I will definitely add this into our coffee rotation and definitely buy it for "special occasion" coffee.
