Great quality chicory roast! It's a bit different than regular coffee with the light rooty taste mixed in but very very good, especially with splash of half & half. I'm glad that as a coffee alternative for me, as I have kearned can drink it on a keto diet. It does not raise blood sugar levels, and although not advertised, the naturally occurring inulin that is in Chicory helps to curve appetite as well. I'm very happy with New Orleans Roast!

i’ve brewed this chicory in a vietnamese coffee filter, in a chemex, and as an overnight cold brew, same ratio/weight as coffee and always delicious
i’ve brewed this chicory in a vietnamese coffee filter, in a chemex, and as an overnight cold brew, same ratio/weight as coffee and always delicious. i actually think almond milk compliments the taste better than oatly, especially when iced. love drinking these in the afternoon or mornings when i’m opting out on caffeine.

Since recently being forced to pry my caffeinated hand from the heavenly deliverance of the ever-giving bean, I've been trying all the coffee alternatives out there, and I keep coming back to this simple roasted chicory from New Orleans. It's so rich and flavorful. I actually toss in a teaspoon of Maca powder and Lion's Mane powder for a little boost of energy (not sure this does anything, but it tastes good).
