An integral part of New Orleans’ world famous cuisine, this mixture of green and black olives, capers, giardiniera (pickled vegetables) and a blend of herbs and spices, is packaged in a Non-GMO canola oil/Extra Virgin Olive Oil blend. Traditionally served on a New Orleans “Muffuletta” sandwich, it can also be used in salads, pastas, panini or used as a pizza topping.

Unit Size: 15.5oz (2 Pack)

Ingredients: Olives, Oil Blend (Canola, Extra Virgin Olive Oil)(All Oils are Non-GMO), Mixed Pickled Vegetables (Cauliflower, Carrot, Celery, Red Pepper), Pimiento Paste (Water, Pimiento, Sodium Alginate, Guar Gum, Calcium Chloride, Potassium Sorbate (<30ppm)], Salt, Black Olives, Capers, Garlic, Spices, Lactic Acid, and Ferrous Gluconate.

Muffuletta Sandwich

  • Loaf of Bread
  • Boscoli Family Olive Salad (Italian, Jalapeno, or Kalamata)
  • ¼ Genoa salami (or hard salami)
  • ¼ ham
  • ¼ mortadella (if available)
  • ¼ provolone cheese

Directions Traditionally served on a 9 inch round, 2-inch thick, crusty Italian bread made in New Orleans, especially for the muffuletta sandwich. (Can substitute French bread, ciabatta, pistolettes, or any dense bread). Cut bread in half and lightly coat both sides of bread with Boscoli Family Italian Olive Salad. Layer thin slices of Genoa salami, (or hard salami), ham, mortadella (if available) and provolone cheese. Can be enjoyed cold or heat in over to taste. For an added kick, sprinkle with a little crushed red pepper to taste!

I used this to make muffuletta sandwiches

I used this to make muffuletta sandwiches. Also good on ham and cheese sandwiches and in pasta salads. I love the flavor it adds to sandwiches. I regularly buy this product.

Make mufletta's often, and won't eat them without Boscoli's Olive Salad as the chief condiment! Excellent product!

I am a big fan of olive salad and Boscoli is my favorite

Posted by CJD on Jan 10th 2021

I am a big fan of olive salad and Boscoli is my favorite. I use it on my tossed salads and in sandwiches and dips. Boscoli is nicely chopped in uniform sized pieces. I clicked four stars for "thickness" because it is packed in olive oil and therefore not "thick". I use a fork to scoop out if I want it drained for sandwiches but use oil and all for salads. Delish!

This is SO good! It's olives and tiny veggies chopped up and swimming in olive oil

Posted by cheetocheeto on Nov 29th 2020

This is SO good! It's olives and tiny veggies chopped up and swimming in olive oil. Other types use soybean and other deadly oils but this one is healthy and it's delicious!! It goes great with all kinds of foods or just on its own. Will definitely buy this again!
