Can`t get enough of this stuff, tastes good even if its just over rice. Sometimes I`ll add a little tofu with a touch of daves insanity sauce and eat it served over white rice. YUM

We love red beans & rice! And finding it outside of my hometown of New Orleans is always a challenge. So we keep a case of Blue Runner red beans in a pantry at all times. :) While perfect to heat and serve over rice as is, we do like to doctor it up a bit. We add a little bit of white wine instead of water as a start. Sometimes, we'll add some minced garlic for an extra kick. Then, of course, some Tabasco or Tony Chacere's to spice it up further. We enjoy serving it over Mahatma brown rice along side andouille sausage. Enjoy and make sure to share it with others. We've converted many Northerners to this tasty meal. :)

What can I say? Nothing compares to the taste and texture of these red beans. My friend in New Orleans introduced me to these and swears by them in all her "Nawlins" cooking. I live in Michigan and order these regularly. They are a MUST in my pantry.

I sent these to my grandson and family in Arizona. They were having yrouble getting them there. This is really a great part of New Orleans. Good Eats.

Half of cans came in dented. The packaging was not busted. Looks like vendor is selling dented products.Still great beans in the can...yummy

Reminds me of good ol' Louisiana here in Florida... They don't sell this anywhere close to where I live, obviously. So shipping them to me is just as good! I wish there was some good andouille sausage around here but that can be shipped as well! Really happy with my Red Beans and everyone at my Mardi Gras party enjoyed them too. Perfect for those days you're homesick...

My husband is from NOLA and loves Blue Runners. He eats his with rice and mayo which I don't understand but I love Blue Runners too. Excellent product.
