Thee product was good, except I expected it to be spicy. The flavor was every good, but lackiing heat. I have to continue looking for the real spicy hog head cheese I purchased from a grocery in Arkansas, which they no longer sell.

The product is terrific but I want to write about the packing and shipping expertise of Creole Foods. The contents arrived still frozen with some dry ice remaining. Each item was wrapped in paper so the dry ice wouldn't burn the product. The card board box was sturdy enough to withstand the UPS/FedEX Gorillas. The corners of the box were not dented nor did the outside of the box look like it was drug through the bayou. Thanks Creole Food! Repeat Customer in Santa Fe, NM.

Another great product from Creole foods! I must have a tolerance to spicy foods as this wasn’t very spicy to me, but the dense consistency had great flavor. This is not your northern states head cheese that has a lot of gelatin and paper thin slices. This is thick sliced and dense. I just ate it cold!

I was introduced to this hog head cheese by my father-in-law who had previously ordered from Creole food and I really could care less about hog head cheese because it didn't have any flavor and it was all gelatiny but when I tasted Creole foods hog head cheese oh man the flavor was just awesome they had a nice taste to it nice texture so I had to order me some and I ordered some and it was great and I will order some more eventually.

I was born in Louisiana and now live in North Texas where you cannot find Hogs Head Cheese. So, this is my second order of Richards and it is awesome. It has a perfect blend of spices and pork with a slight spiciness. I highly recommend it.

Very good, fresh and shipped to protect spoilage. Hot is the best version of this product and wish there was a little more spices and heat similar to those I grew up with in Missisippi and Louisiana. All-in-all a very good product that I will surely reorder in the near future after my initial shipment is consumed
