New Orleans Roast 5 lb. Ground 100% Pure Chicory

This is my second order of 3 5lb packages of chicory. I add it to my cold brew coffee for a deep rich flavor. My husband has to avoid caffeine so he just brews chicory instead of coffee. We both are very happy w/ the quality of New Orleans Roast Chicory! Will reorder when this batch is depleted!

I am extremely happy with the roasted chicory!!! The flavor in wonderfully roasty, robust and pleasantly bitter, all on its own...Have not tried it with coffee as I don’t drink. I bought this as a coffee substitute, and am totally satisfied!!! I will buy it again and again...A wonderful product!!!

I bought a 5 lb bag recently when I couldn't find Ground Chicory locally and wanted to transition from coffee to chicory for the health benefits. Tastes great cold or hot! I add a little cream for a smooth taste. I will definitely continue buying ground chicory from New Orleans Roast!

I bought because I had two friends I wanted to give each a pound and they love it,I've been using chicory in my java for years I use four Tbs.in four cups of coffee I buy green coffee,roast it and grind it fresh every morning.

Hello! Ordered chicory product and was pleasantly surprised at the good quality chicory!! Served just the chicory and blended it with our coffee and both results were met with smooth tasting coffee and chicory. I previously expected the chicory to be a little more bitter, but it was not. Will be ordering again. I should mentioned that I be ordering again from New Orleans Roast mostly because of the excellent customer service I received from a lady named Paige. She was such a pleasant girl that I cannot heap enough praise on how she handled a problem with my order. That sweet girl was so accommodating and understanding during the entire process that I cannot contain my enthusiasm for Paige. This woman should be rewarded for her professionalism. At the heart of any company are the people who are the true face of the company's presence in the market. Paige is top-notch. She is loveliness at the core. This is my 2nd time ordering I’ve ordered 15lbs at a time. Have purchased chicory another place and the taste wasn’t too good just tolerable but, this chicory is great. I mix it half & half with coffee. I have to make the coffee a little weaker because chicory is more water soluble than coffee. Less caffeine is what I was aiming for anyway so it works great. No complaints from my husband. Yeah! That’s always a plus.

Good chicory coffee is hard to come by up here in the frozen north but a mix of 40% chicory to fresh ground French Roast and you've got the real deal. A great way to start the day, take a break or just to relax in the evening.

After dinner is a bad time for me to have caffeinated coffee. This works for after dinner or to serve with dessert.
