It sure adds a stronger flavor to my coffee. I add 2 scoops coffee and 1/2 scoop of Chickory. More is to strong for my taste. Earthly is a good description to the flavor. Dirt....maybe

Bought the 3 lb packages. Good quick delivery and the chicory is perfect in our coffee. It is fairly coarsely ground and is great on its own.
