Description

Rice, seafood and seasonings repeatedly appear in the foods of South Louisiana. Jambalaya is a rice main dish made with almost any meat or seafood and most often combines several kinds of each. Highly seasoned with onions, herbs and pepper, it is a delicious way to serve bits of leftover meats. Long ago, jambalaya was cooked outdoors in large, black iron pots over open flames and stirred with boat paddles. This is true even today at many of the fairs and festivals of the area. With OAK GROVE SMOKEHOUSE CREOLE JAMBALAYA MIX, this authentic, flavorful dish can be created with a minimum of time and effort. Serve with garlic-buttered French bread and tossed salad for a meal you will want to repeat time and time again!

    The best Jambalaya Mix in the world! No kidding. It is hard to find outside of Cajun country, so, we order it so that it is always ready to make from our pantry. Shipping is great and we delayed the shipping date for our convenience and it arrived in perfect time.

    I have been using this brand of jambalaya mix for many years. It is a winner, just enough spices to blend well. I use chicken wings and Polska Kielbasa sausage for my meat in it. Perfect.

    My sweet mother in law always used this jambalaya mix for her family and taught me to use it for ours. Now my children are using it in their homes. It’s simply delicious! Add some chicken and sausage and you have a wonderfully satisfying and delicious meal!

    Well, I thought I had the best recipe. I was w wrong. The spices in this mix were own point!!! I felt like I was sitting on my mama's front porch on a cool Fall evening with bottled Coke.
