Ingredients: Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Whole Red Beans, Red Bean Powder, Onion*, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten & Safflower Oil), Red And Green Bell Pepper*, Tomato Powder, Salt, Garlic*, Smoky Bacon Ham Flavor (Maltodextrin, Salt, Modified Corn Starch, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate, and Silicone Dioxide), Soybean Oil (Highly Refined), Smoke Powder (Yellow Corn Flour, Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor), Black Pepper, Parsley Flakes*, Red Pepper. *DEHYDRATED


Directions: Pre-cook 1 – 1 ½ lbs. of sausage or ham in a 4 qt. saucepan. Ensure meat is thoroughly cooked (to 165ËšF). Bring 3¼ cups of water and 1 tbsp. of butter or margarine to a boil. Add LA Fish Fry Red Beans and Rice Entrée Mix. Stir well. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Cook covered for 25-30 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Recipe:
Cajun Red Beans and Rice:

Ingredients: 1 package Louisiana Fish Fry Red Beans & Rice Mix, 1 lb sausage, sliced, 1 small onion, diced, 1 green bell pepper, diced, 1 celery stalk, diced, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 4 cups water, 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until it is browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the onion, green bell pepper, celery, and garlic to the saucepan, and sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the Louisiana Fish Fry Red Beans & Rice Mix, water, and diced tomatoes, and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until the red beans and rice are tender and the flavors have melded together.
Serve the red beans and rice hot, with additional sausage on top if desired. Enjoy!
