We LOVE the Cajun Chef's Spicey Green Tomato Pickles (not too spicey, really!).... I used to help Mother make these every summer in deep east Texas.... June is about the only time of year you get lots of green tomatoes... Chop, chop, chop...onions, bell pepper...lots of boiled vinegar, a giant enamel pan, boiled clean jars and caps... takes about 6 hours to make a couple of cases.... We were really happy to discover them online, since the local grocers couldn't keep them in stock... As good as home made (almost!). Goes great in baked beans, as a side for a fish fry, with potato salad.... YUM YUM
