Traditionally served on a New Orleans “Muffuletta” sandwich, it can also be used in salads, pastas, panini or used as a pizza topping.

Unit Size: 15.5oz (2 Pack)

Ingredients: Olives, Oil Blend (Canola, Extra Virgin Olive Oil)(All Oils are Non-GMO), Mixed Pickled Vegetables (Cauliflower, Carrot, Celery, Red Pepper), Pimiento Paste (Water, Pimiento, Sodium Alginate, Guar Gum, Calcium Chloride, Potassium Sorbate (<30ppm)], Salt, Black Olives, Capers, Garlic, Spices, Lactic Acid, and Ferrous Gluconate.

Muffuletta Sandwich

  • Loaf of Bread
  • Boscoli Family Olive Salad (Italian, Jalapeno, or Kalamata)
  • ¼ Genoa salami (or hard salami)
  • ¼ ham
  • ¼ mortadella (if available)
  • ¼ provolone cheese

Directions Traditionally served on a 9 inch round, 2-inch thick, crusty Italian bread made in New Orleans, especially for the muffuletta sandwich. Perfect on almost any sandwich but especially great when you make one with thinly sliced roast beef heated in a bowl or pot with 1 cup boiling water

Perfect on almost any sandwich but especially great when you make one with thinly sliced roast beef heated in a bowl or pot with 1 cup boiling water and 1 beef bouillon and add Italian seasonings. After the beef gets heated in the bowl with the bouillon and au jus spoon some on a sliced sandwich bread (Italian or Cuban) then generously apply the Olive Salad to the assembled sandwich and you've got the best their is outside of any Italian beef stand. Boscoli Italian Olive Salad makes it happen. It's actually real giardiniera, and I used to make and sell Italian beef sandwiches when I had my restaurant years ago.

Makes a great muffuletta. Also makes a great mayonnaise-free tuna or chicken salad.

This "salad" is almost like a tapanade. I've added it t salads, mixed it with pasta and eaten it on toast and crackers. You can't lose however you use it though it is a bit pricey.

Taste is just as I remembered from the New Orleans French Quarter. Good price compared to trying to make it yourself.
