There are several ways you can cook Big Easy Boudin Balls:

  1. Deep-frying: Heat up a pot of oil to 375°F. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the boudin balls in the pot and fry for 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove the boudin balls from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  2. Pan-frying: Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the boudin balls and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Flip the boudin balls occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  3. Baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the boudin balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

  4. Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the boudin balls on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.

Regardless of the cooking method you choose, be sure to cook the boudin balls until they are fully cooked and heated through. You can check for doneness by cutting one of the boudin balls in half - it should be fully cooked with no pink or raw areas. Enjoy!

I got 2 boxes. The first one we followed the instructions for the oven....and although the flavor was ok, the boudin balls were mushy. I'll try deep frying the next box.
