Always perfect for an authentic batch of red beans and rice! It’s already seasoned perfectly, and I just add andouille and about half a can of water. Serve with French bread. I grew up in New Orleans where it’s a tradition to eat this every Monday, which we often do (here in Texas). It definitely takes me back home. Highly recommend for an easy and delicious meal.

Delicious enough to serve to company. We love these right out of the can or with added sautéed onions and peppers. We keep them on hand for a delicious and quick meal over rice. YUM!

I live in New York State so, we don't have restaurants where you can get an authentic New Orleans red beans and rice meal and Popeye's Absolutely does
I live in New York State so, we don't have restaurants where you can get an authentic New Orleans red beans and rice meal and Popeye's Absolutely does not count in fact it's an insult to real Louisiana cooking. I loved the flavor and I added my Zatarain's Cayenne to give a real kick and I made some homemade biscuits to go with it trust me we ate good!!!
