Steen's Molasses 11.5 oz

Steen's Dark Molasses is a thicker Molasses. It all begins with our Pure Cane Syrup, but in the cooking process it's held at high heat for a longer period of time giving it a more robust flavor and color.

Ingredients: Sugarcane Juice

Steen's Molasses Cake

1 Cup Steen's Dark Molasses

2 Tbsp Sugar

2 Tsp Vanilla

1/3 Cup Salad Oil

1 1/2 Cups Flour (measured after sifting)

1 Egg

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1/4 Baking Soda

1/2 Cup Milk

Combine all dry ingredients except sugar. Beat egg and sugar until creamy. Add Steen's Dark Molasses, mix well, add oil, mix. Add dry ingredients, beat 100 strokes or 3 min, with mixer at moderate speed. add milk and vanilla, Mix. Do not over beat. Pour in pan or layers. Cook at 375 F until done.
