Just tried this tonight and it’s delicious! The best jambalaya we’ve ever had. The sauce has great depth of flavor, is silky in texture, and has just the right amount of heat. Very impressed and I’ll be buying this again soon. Perfect for winter.

I am from south Louisiana and can I just say I pride myself on how good a cook I am. HOWEVER-----my friend said I should try this (she is an excellent cook too) to feed a large number of people. Wellllllllllll---- I don;t think I will ever make jambalaya from "scratch" again! I did sautee onions, bell pepper and celery and some garlid along with cooking the chicken and sausage and added to the mix. I like a lot of the "holy trinity" in my food. It was perfect and everyone raved about it!!!!!! highly recommend!!!!!!! 3 individual packages fed 12 with leftovers for 4 the next day! YUMMY!
