A traditional Louisiana dish, etouffee is literally the French word for “smothered.” Freshly chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper complement a delicious blend of mushrooms and white wine in a unique tomato sauce seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients: Shrimp (shrimp, water, citric acid, sodium bisulfite, sodium tripolyphosphate), water, onion, tomato paste (vine ripened fresh tomatoes & naturally derived citric acid), mushrooms (mushrooms, water, salt), white wine, celery, butter (cream milk, salt) bell pepper, green onion, enriched bleached wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin and folic acid), salt, garlic, spices, corn starch and crab boil (water, polysorbate 80, extractives of red pepper, bay, clove, black pepper, thyme, marjoram and artificial spice flavors). May contain Sulfites
Directions: Thaw product in refrigerator, pour contents in saucepan, warm gently over medium heat. (Do not boil!) This product is completely cooked and is traditionally served over cooked rice. Immediately refrigerate or discard any unused portion. Enjoy!

Very Good!! Great flavor, robust and only slightly spicy. Mild enough so the kids really enjoyed it, I enjoyed it it as is but add a little black and cayenne pepper for a bit more heat.
